Alice Joseph Vintage Swarovski Round Diamante Clip-On Earrings, Green / Red

Distinctive clip-on earrings designed by Swarovski. In gilt metal fittings, each earring features two pairs of green and red round cut diamante, with polished leaf surrounds and smaller clear diamante stones around the edge. The birthplace of Swarovski, renowned for its high quality crystals, is the Rhine Valley, from whence "rhinestones" got their name. Swarovski started the manufacture of jewellery in 1977. Vintage Swarovski is marked with the initials S.A.L. (Swarovski America Limited) prior to 1988, or a tiny swan.
